I should just request my WL/R decision now then
i emailed them asking the status of my application why wouldnt they just say if its an R and instead send me that

Yikes. I wonder what the process is like. I know we all assume it can be done automatically at once but I guess its alot more involved
they should prob have their deadline in Jan tbh
announcing this via email response is so pathetic lol

@SplitterusClitterus: Agree 100%. Someone else said that earlier.

I think they're just kind of a mess. They present it as some very deliberate, holistic process, but it's really worse than all the others bc they keep candidates hanging.

wow so are we sure they are done

can someone post a screenshot on reddit
I emailed them also and got the same canned response as others but don’t use reddi

i wish they were more transparent with where they're at :( i think it'd be difficult to ride the WL. i vaguely asked about it and it sounds like they don't let many ppl off it
“Our 1L class for Fall 2024 has been filled. Our office is in the process of sending out remaining decisions with the possibility of some applicants being waitlisted. Please feel free to contact our office anytime with questions.”
@Serval: Same
@HumanScienceFragments: Rip, does that mean little to no WL movement this year?
Serval
16:33
@TheOneWhoHonk: well the office says there's no telling what's gonna happen (until it happens)
aquatichills
16:35
@Serval: did they tell you there arent any spots left
Serval
16:51
@aquatichills: i didn't ask explicitly so they didn't cover that. i more so was asking about WL movement
aquatichills
16:56
got it, thank u !
Serval
16:57
of course!
@TheOneWhoHonk: I don’t know what it means tbh. Others probably know the data/possibilities better than I
They said the class is full, which I take as meaning there aren’t any spots left at this point in time, but that obvi changes when people withdraw their apps
aquatichills
17:05
I wonder if they even got through the feb apps before it was full
@HumanScienceFragments: I can only speculate, but I think people who were in the late wave of admits have modified deposit deadlines of May 10 (correct me if I'm wrong). Presumably not everyone will deposit so there should be some space opening up after, but idk. I think you're right tho -- I think what they meant in that email was that they aren't prepared to make any more offers of admissions based on yield from previous years, is my guess.
