Looks like roughly 5% of waitlisted applicants input As on lsd
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
15:57
That is deflated because not everyone who gets waitlisted updates after waitlist and Gulc filters their waitlist pretty heavily early on
15:59
What do you mean by filters early on?
15:59
Sorry I’m honestly really unfamiliar with their process so I appreciate your knowledge
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
15:59
You have to accept WL, attend their WL zoom, and pretty sure you need to write an loci too
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
16:00
So a ton of people with the WL decision will not be on the WL
16:00
do they release people from the WL commonly? Like send them a WL R basically
16:01
Or is it just internal
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
16:01
Yes they release a ton of people early on
16:02
Gotcha Ty! I ask mainly because I’m planning to ride out to at least August 1st in the hopes my odds improve so glad to hear my plan is at least feasible
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
16:04
They won’t always email you about dropping you but they will send official emails mid may
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
16:04
And then you will be in the narrowed down pool
16:05
Yeah I got the feeler and the follow up saying they’ll be in touch again the week of May 6th so I’m guessing it’s that next email that will tell if I’m still in the running (at that point) for sure or not
16:06
God this process is so stressful hahaha. Have yall seen how Reddit is lately I feel like everyone is trying to screw one another over it’s intense
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
16:06
Yeah LSA is a piranha pool
16:07
All the nice people got accepted and moved on, I had a troll that came in and shat on my results outta nowhere (it wasn’t my post or anything even related to me I was congratulating someone for getting in somewhere it was crazy)
KnowledgeableRitzyWasp
16:09
Hahahaha that’s a totally sane thing to do. All the sane people really did have left
16:10
Yeah like I get it. Heck it’s why I ask all my questions here now. The Reddit WAS a great source of info but now it’s just brutal

Do all schools interview WL applicants
Ijustwannagetinman
16:21
What’s the conversion rate u think from interview to A
Ijustwannagetinman
16:22
On the WL
Ijustwannagetinman
16:22
Guess it depends on the e school
16:30
@Ijustwannagetinman: Just saw your earlier question. I have a discord I use very intermittently. jb2028_92687
16:32
@Ijustwannagetinman: what school?
Ijustwannagetinman
16:58
@TruthTheX: just wondering generally
Ijustwannagetinman
16:58
@jb2028: sent you a friend request
17:02
Gotcha then ye it just depends on the school. For a few they might send out an ii after a WL decision (two did this for me) but how rare or common depends on the school and what it means also depends on the school I suppose

@TruthTheX: was it a 1v1 with the dean or a Kira interview or a group
iirc NU sends a kira invite to all WL applicants, it's not required to stay on the WL though
