Submit a GPA addenum explaining it (tough major/courses/schedule (work)/whatever) and mention it is uploaded in the portal. Or if they dont have that option, add it to email and mention it in the body.

@ctsh: it was a whole paragraph! My first LOCI was slightly longer than a page because of it and my second was a page with a career update (a unique special project I’ve been working on that while not a job is pretty interesting)
