I’m going to miss my job at Starbucks I mean we get the occasional nightmare customer but I’ve loved most of my regulars and all my coworkers and mangers. Sadly I don’t think WE as a barista meant much to law schools or I woulda worked here another year to save up a tiny bit more and strengthen my app
@TediousSparrow: probably. Im just messing around ik BL is crazy. Also i wouldn’t blow your savings to travel before school. The less loans the better imo. Bc youll have to pay back the interest too
@OvertReconditeSpider: lol don't worry, me too. And I agree on not blowing your savings but travel is not a bad idea. Nothing worse than showing up to 1L already burnt out before the real work even begins
@tedious thank you baby & lol im from Georgia i worked at pink pony for three months back in December. An ego boost for sure look it up u wont regret it HAHA
I flew from Philadelphia to Las Vegas in march for 4 days and only spent $86 on the trip. Paid for the flight with CC rewards, stayed at my parents time share they dont use, spent $50 on UNLV shirts, and $40 on food lol (i bought groceries and cooked at the kitchen in the villa)
Something I’ve dreamed of doing is just packing a backpack, loading a sack of camping gear on the back of my motorcycle, and just going to parks and shit. Camp out and then get a room in a hotel every two or three stops to have a nice bed and nicer shower than probably a lake or gas station truck stop shower
@TCMutant: according to apple health i did walk 32.6 miles in that stretch lol. I walked everywhere bc the weather was great. I walked from the hotel to campus and the hotel had a complimentary shuttle to the strip. I did pay $20 total for uber tho so technically $106 i forgot ab that. @guitless from what i could tell they did not offer any kind of travel stipend. Though i did not ask bc i had free hotel nights/flight
