i think in the south the top schools are generally considered to be vanderbilt, duke, ut austin, memory, unc, and UVA, and that the order of the list sort of exists on a sliding scale the depends on where exactly you are in the south

dont let a website full of biased internet randos pick for you. do your own research and decide based on what best fits your goals. also possum that's why i said sliding scale. UVA wont beat out a texas grad for a job in texas or a Vanderbilt grad for a job in TN (assuming their resumes and grades are equal)
