Late December... yeah I'll have already started at Kent by the time I hear back. Does not reflect well on their administration.

so nerve wracking!!
23:50
did anyone apply to depaul
@LolahLaw: Yep
Wave? Seems like they're rushing on decisions prior to seat deposits elsewhere
Kent's is Monday so it's do or withdraw for me
19:23
Has anyone successfully negotiated scholarships with Loyola? I sent an email asking for reconsideration and they said they aren't reconsidering at this time but will let me know if this changes. I deposited at Kent but still slightly favor Loyola. Kent gave $45k and Loyola gave $33k. Would it make it more likely for them to reconsider my scholarship if I put down the first deposit?

I called asking about the reconsideration process but the admissions office said that the initial aid amount is often final
I also got a rejection about scholarship reconsideration. However, I also figured there is upper class scholarship that you can apply for. Unfortunate, but it seems like they are really frugal this year.
12:29
It kinda looks like their later decisions are prioritizing high LSAT or GPA but not working with the largest sample
DePaul and Loyola in Chicago are particularly known for not negotiating, although DePaul moreso than Loyola
Kent will renegotiate but seemingly only over amounts for better-ranked schools
Also it's May. How do I still not have a decision from Loyola? I will have started at Kent by the time I hear back.
is it worth asking for more $
If you're above the median then ask.
Who's going to Loyola?
Unfortunately, Loyola does not do scholarship negotiations. Kent does!
I am attending!
