@grapesnlemonade382: I could also be wrong, I didn’t even start using Law Hub until after March lol. So I could’ve missed something in my portal
I don't think I have a date in GULC's portal and it has been like this for weeks
14:19
my brother was waitlisted first week of April and I was invited to an alumni interview a few days later. It's been 2ish weeks since I finished that..anyone know if they've heard back after alumni interviews? we applied march 1st lol
@badgluten: I have almost the same timeline with you and haven't heard anything back yet
14:20
I applied ED, u?
same
oh rip. so much for getting my hopes up. oh well
14:22
I guess we'll just be checking email for another 2 weeks
14:23
best of luck @RoomyDesertedBison
@badgluten: Same to you! Hope we all get A!
14:26
ye soon, I need to put notice in for my lease this week and I am not commuting from Tysons 💀
Oh my! I live so close to you. I am close to Falls Church metro station

As someone who did a Capitol Hill to Tysons/Vienna commute for 3 months… I do not recommend at all
14:31
yea, when I did my MS at GU I commuted from Mclean, it was hell. Worth the higher rent to be walking distance for sure
ugh I feel that. I I have to put notice in for my lease by Monday :D
Are you guys taking the metro? I am within walking distance to metro station and I am planning to take metro........
14:33
definitely not, I'd have to switch at metro center so it'd be a 40min+ commute, that's almost 2 hours of lost studying time/gym/down time a day. Much better to live on the same line or nearby school
Re status checker mine hasn't had a date since interview
14:34
+ since the pandemic, silver line only runs every 15 minutes so its a pain in the ass
PreviousSwelteringQuail
14:34
My biggest problem wasn’t the metro, rather to get to my office I had to catch a bus at Tysons Corner that didn’t run super regularly in the early morning. If you can walk to the metro station from your start and end point, it would be a lot better
Ah true I didn't have to switch lines before......
PreviousSwelteringQuail
14:37
Also, the silver and orange lines were down last summer which took the commute from around an hour to at least an hour and a half
14:39
yea nasty - ill probably look at the Lydian/Lyric or nearby - lot of GULC ppl seemed to live there when I toured a few years ago
Thank you both for the info! Hope we all got A so we can plan for the move LOL
Seems to be an R wave happening rn
(Maybe)
15:55
I don’t believe so at least not yet
Yeah I just saw a bunch of Rs for today and thought it might've been a wave
16:15
All the Rs dated for today were reported earlier this morning I think, I think they were part of yesterdays wave
Makes sense
