@crybaby2024: I interviewed 3 weeks ago and still havent heard. They def are still probably giving A's because they underadmitted and the waitlist has 2000 people lol Dean Andy told them to expect movement after May 10th. Plus some people were just interviewed last week.

I’m super lucky to have a full ride at UVA, and their deposit deadline is 4/25. I also got 65% at Duke, and their deposit deadline is 4/26. I really, really want to go to Duke, so I sent a scholarship negotiation. Duke got back to me and told me that I’m under consideration for one of Duke’s full rides IF one opens up, and they’ll get back to me by 4/24. Here’s the issue—I’m sure that many of Duke’s current full-ride offers will decline on 4/26, which is after UVA deposit deadline and I lose all my leverage. If Duke was nice, they would go ahead and award me the scholarship on 4/26 since they told me that would happen if one opened up, but they have no reason to do that because by that point I’ll lose my leverage. I really need to extend BOTH UVA and Duke deposit deadline, but the odds of them both giving me a few more days is low.
