Does the school accept LOCI?
8:53
Yeah
Anyone heard from the waitlist?
has anyone talk to admin about when they start looking at waitlist candidates??
I haven't called them at all, too afraid I'll mess something up
Hahah same
10:52
They are still adding to the waitlist late into this cycle. If they didn’t intend to admit a decent amount then might as well have rejected them.
Did anyone get this?: A decision has been sent via mail - contact usclaw@law.sc.edu with questions.
@NiftyWoodenWretch: I also got that. It is making me a little nervous
@FestiveNosyGoose: does it actually come via mail? If so......
No idea. I got that message today.
When I was waitlisted it was in the email if that helps
Also Spivey posted an estimate that 40-50% of accepts this year could be waitlist. Something about over admitting students last year that caused a big scandal. That's why every school is sending so many waitlists
So they are basically keeping us on hold until they decide they want us. LOCI, etc. won't matter much. They likely know who they are going to move from the waitlist pretty well by now

Maybe there needs to be more thought here. Over $150000 debt or more here for a 65-70 thousand dollar starting salary? My experience is that most people smart enough to go to law school can make as much with their Undergrad or even a 1 year Master degree program. Either they start bumping up the scholarships or I think the yield here is about to drop off a cliff.
Yeah all of a sudden everyone wants to go to South Carolina. It's wild if you look at the highest LSAT's that applied last year and all the 170+ applying this year
When my app status says “ Application currently in review with the Admissions Committee” does it actually mean they r looking at it rn or like its just under review status wise?
@SSSplitter165: I'm convinced it's because of that Murdaugh documentary.
@lazersquiddles: I think it means it's just under review status wise.
Any idea when we might see some waitlist movement? Has any waitlist heard back yet?
13:16
If anyone gets in you should be at the top of the list. Hard to believe with your numbers that you are on the waitlist. Many people in with much less numbers.

USC down to 66 from 60, not too bad of a drop especially how they were predicting it to be!

12:47
my application has been in review for 5 weeks as of yesterday....anyone had to wait that long? good news, bad news? I feel like if they were going to reject me, they would've done so by now...but i don't want to get my hopes up
14:22
