They're playing the hell out of stats/rankings. I attended a regional dinner and the adcomm shamelessly boasted about the way their rankings/medians have shot up. The whole time, I'm thinking, "What about your employment outcomes?"
13:36
Mine says "preferred consideration" what does that mean? Waitlist?
13:36
Caught the WL. Got an email from LawHub that my status changed
13:36
I would assume it means waitlist but idk
13:43
@casafromtx Did your status say "preferred consideration"?
13:56
I don’t think so. Is that on an email or on the portal?
13:59
I haven’t gotten an email from them. I’m only able to see my status on the LSAC portal
14:02
Mine is in the portal
14:03
I am assuming it means I am high on the waitlist but I am not entirely sure

Preferred consideration is not wait list. I was preferred consideration on feb 1st and just caught the waitlist today. I would read preferred consideration closer to a "hold." The email they sent me for preferred consideration said they needed more time to make a decision and gave today as a deadline.

@Splitter12095: do you mind if I ask about your status checker movement?
Splitter12095
16:01
Complete late Oct, initial review Nov, final review December 12, subsequent review lat December, preferred consideration feb 1st and the waitlist today. Feels like my sex life, a long wait for a disappointing conclusion
18:14
@Splitter12095: I'm in the exact same boat as you. I was preferred consideration and caught the WL today.
6:28
Im definitely catching that wl at best damn

Did anyone here apply for BC, if so how long did it take to get your result back

Anyone here choosing between A&M and SMU? Other than cost, what else are y’all considering?
@ImperfectIrishWolfhound: yes, leaning heavily and likely to choose A&M on their price/offer alone.
YouJustGotLittUp
10:29
SMU has better big law #'s but their COA is higher
Anyone get off the WL today?
ImperfectIrishWolfhound
18:21
Not on the WL, but based off information I was told when I was admitted make sure in your LOCI’s that you talk about things you can *offer* the school, and specific things that draw you to A&M.
Splitter12095
19:11
I can *offer* them my life savings. Does that count?
When do yall think we can anticipate the waitlist wave?
