Ya know. If you actually have gotten a scholarship that this point 🤣
Where else are you thinking?
9:58

Yeah I get that

Wake Forest! I’m from SC so it’ll be nice to be close to home
10:01
Oh that's amazing!
10:01
Congratulations on that and the scholarship
Thanks! You too!
10:02
Thanks!
10:14
the only reason I haven't withdrawn yet is to see if they literally ever offer me a scholarship, but they've successfully managed to drop themselves from being my #1 pick to 'you couldn't pay me to go' lmao
Just got an email that I was offered the 40k Dean’s Merit Scholarship. Presumably still being considered for the PIPS as I got the hold email yesterday? Feeling very frustrated I was made to wait months for this information, tbh.
11:22
yeah pips and merit are separate, congrats!
11:22
and yeeeeah i get it lol
11:24
lol just checked and i got the same thing
Online it does say that PIPS recipients are ineligible for merit scholarships, so that's weird you would hear that before anything more about PIPS.
Q. How does the scholarship affect other financial aid? A. Scholarship recipients may apply for federal loans (or private education loans, if needed) to cover cost of living while in law school. Recipients are not eligible for restricted scholarships, admissions merit scholarships, and need-based grants offered by the law school.
11:36
nah if you accept PIPS they just take away your merit, that's how they did it in previous years
yeah, so you are ineligible for merit scholarships if you receive PIPS. I'm saying the order of things is weird.
12:07
you're right but at this point I would expect nothing less from AU
12:08
so funny that UMD sent me the exact same scholarship 1 hour after admitting me and it took AU like 6 weeks to crunch those numbers like...c'mon babe lmao
13:34
Lol that is so ridiculous. Also congratulations to you both for getting the scholarship
13:34
I guess i just need to wait 6 months to hear from them lmao
Still nothing 🤠
Accepted Jan 3
14:12
