@AspiringGargoyle: law is bimodal salary distribution. Most big law jobs pay “cravath scale” which is a standardized compensation scale starting at 225k and increasing from there
@ararara: FOR REAL!! I just get annoyed because I'm a very communicative person and honestly an over-achiever so I get a LOT done. But bc everyone else I work with is the opposite... management is super UP MY ASS all the time about tiny little things like I do what everyone else does and it makes me BENT lol
That’s how it goes. If you do good work people depend on you more then on top of that if you get along with the people you work with they look at you as a “friend” or something and take advantage of you more. Be careful! Make sure to put on your own gas mask first.
