@redbellpepper: right
Does anyone know if acceptances off the wait list are being delivered through the mail like WL's were?
Looks like there was a wave today. How did you all find out?
smallroundrabbit
15:28
@redbellpepper: How do you know about the wave? (Not doubting you, just super curious as to where people can get that info)
Ngl I've been watching the recent decisions tab like a hawk today
If I were to guess, there probably wasn't a wave today. It was only one person that got accepted and isn't attending
Kinda jumped the gun on that one...

Legallyblack88

I thought they were about to pull people off the list lol
Ugh I know. I'm kinda hoping that it was sent in the mail and that's why I'm still on the waitlist 😂😂
Legallyblack88
16:38
Ughhh yes i sent in an loci. They told me i made my interest very clear which im happy about. Hopefully ill get off the list now. 😂😂 once im off this list im taking a flight to Wisconsin 😂😂😂

16:43
Same, I got back from a trip across the country to a different law school last night and put a seat deposit down, but I will be on the first flight to Milwaukee the minute that A comes
Legallyblack88
16:45
Right! Someone told me to visit them now but i dont wanna go there and i end up getting rejected. I would be upset cause thats a waste of a plane ticket lol
It'd be a couple hour drive for me (I'm from Minnesota) but I'm in the thick of the end of my semester right now and not sure I can dedicate a day trip to a school that I haven't been accepted to
I also sent in a LOCI and they responded so fast saying thank you for my continued interest
Legallyblack88
18:39
@redbellpepper: I 100% agree
Legallyblack88
18:40
@redbellpepper: yes! I appreciate their quick responses!! Its a turn off how i call law schools for basic questions about their programs. They never answer the phone or return my call😑 to me its a red flag cause it tells me about the school and their communication
Right??? I want to call but I’m also awkward and worry it would affect my admissions chances😂
Legallyblack88
23:05
Same lol! Because law admissions are that petty. I asked one school a question and 5 minutes after i got off the phone with them i got denied

😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑
Ok that's actually messed up
I've already sent in a LOCI. Is there anything else I can do to get off the waitlist? Call? Meet in person?
Or is it kinda just a pray to whatever God you believe in type of situation?
Legallyblack88
12:42
@redbellpepper: its really messed up. The only thing i did for marquette besides the loci was set up a virtual meeting with them. I would love to visit them in person but, i don not want to do this until im accepted
Legallyblack88
12:42
@redbellpepper: also prayer cause i definitely dont wanna do too much to turn off admissions
How did the convo go? I've always heard that it is good to remain in touch with admissions when on the WL but Marquette's WL FAQ kinda made it seem like there is nothing you can do to help you get off the waitlist
Legallyblack88
13:34
@redbellpepper: its not until later on this month! And i know its weird.
Please keep us updated! Good luck, hope it goes well! (also put in a good word for me)
Legallyblack88
13:54
@redbellpepper: ill definitely keep everyone updated and definitely 😂😂 we all need to get off this waitlist especially if marquette is your first choice like mine!
